Merry Xmas to everyone!

And here a good news:
I finally managed to get whole building process in order.

I am now using revisions, so that we can all use revision numbers to talk about changes etc.

Commets about revision 1: just a bootable PSX cd with executable program.

Dont laugh though, building such a simpe thing on PSX is was insane. But now I have 700MB free space for zombies.... before I could use only ~ 2MB on one exe

Please, can somebody test this iso on REAL psx, (mod chipped of course) as I am developing on EPSXE emulator and I would like feedback on that.

I'M ON IT! Just let me start it up...

EDIT: Actually... I realized that you wanted this on a real PSone. Sorry...

But I did, ran this on the emulator, and all it said was RESIDENT EVIL 1.5 ISO TEST. Which I'm sure you expected that... I'm not of big help. Mad

I finally got a physical book of C (Yes, 2nd edition by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie, God knows I love that book!) and some other C books.

Next to it I have PsyQ library reference and library overview books, and a official demos with source codes. I am feeling more and more comfortable with PlayStation coding.

Pretty much I am missing right now is PlayStation developer boards, but that does not stop me because I have Epsxe for quick testing and real PlayStaton with GameShark3 hooked to it.

Only thing I am really missing for PERFECT setup is Softimage version 3.?. Then all would be complete, and I could follow all examples and coding guidelines.

Many thanks to members from this forum who helped me obtaining materials I have so far.

It's probably just 3.0. c2keo and I researched it a while back and they had just upgraded to 3.0 version recently (at that time).

It's extremely difficult to find any of those older versions of it, or at least c2keo and I had difficulty. If you find one of the 3|D (not XSI) 3.# versions, let me know.

X-Force put out a serial for v3.7 so it must be around somewhere try some DC++ hubs, mIRC or newsbins that's where most rare stuff is hidden.

Little break trough again! Been a while since I last posted but here it goes:

I finally was smart enough to have fun without any official dev boards or whatever. I can now state that screw the official hardware dev boards.

I got official C compiler and the tools folder increases...

As I am quite smart with C programming now I managed to compile and test some sony sources after some changes. I ended up running it on Epsxe 1.7.0. No more amateur stuff.

I am now fully able to develop stuff. Still no luck with Softimage, but I am already experimenting with Blender and some other tools I am working now.

Basicly nothing stops me from developing this game. Perhaps free time is most annoying thing since I have it very little.

I hope u enjoy the video Smile

Little update, I have been busy with my day work (or sometimes even night), but time to time i upgrade my project.

And this is a video showin automated building. From source to finalized ISO with license etc.

I tried 4.x softimage, but it does not go with my video card, nor other videocards I have at my disposal. Still ooking for softimage 3.x.

Other than that it is still alive. No plans to change platform. It is still on PSX. Have made progress with C languages as I have made some other projects with C in my day work.

Here's a video of automatic build process...

EDIT: btw soundtrack is available again in my site (click on sig)
