The perspective is temprorary. It's currently vertical FOV90 wich will be change to FOV60 sooner. It's planned half a year ago, but xhanging it takes a lot of time so we decided to release this demo as is. Don't worry about the angle of view - we'll change it to normal.

That's quite a nice and ambitious project.

edit: I think it would be better if the door animations were removed. I don't think the original game has them.

there is no proof for missing door sequences in 1.5.
you could assume that by watching the PSMuseum video but the curator stated in his board that he trimmed them out of the video to have more time left for gameplay footage.

Did you forget that the goromacida gameplay video shows proof that 1.5 had door opening sequences? Not to mention several of 1.5's door sequence textures were leftover on the retail demos.

Yeah, I've just checked and the doors animations are there. That's surprising, because I've always read 12 years ago in magazines that it would be removed.

I guess they got rid of the idea and sticked with the doors because of the load times...

edit: By the way GraaD, that's some really good work you did there. With some changes to the animation and modelization we could have something very, very convincing. It's really interesting, keep us updated Smile

It's not about being ready or not. They said they would remove them.
